While you travel, your dog stays in our family home: a big fenced yard, shade from banana and citrus trees, playmates, and the same affection we give our own dogs.

Your dog is welcomed into our family home and cared for with affection and attention, just like our own dogs. Dogs share spaces and play together when appropriate, and we separate them or adjust activities whenever it’s best for their well-being.

What a stay includes
Home boarding
Stays in our home, with drop-off and pick-up dates agreed with you.

By car, when necessary.
Medication
We give the medication you supply, following your written instructions.
Veterinary care
If they get sick or hurt, we contact you right away and seek care within your authorisation.
Each service is only provided if you authorise it on the Dog Information and Care Form.
Requirements & safety
To protect all the dogs in our care, we require:
Up-to-date vaccines
Current rabies plus core vaccines (DHPP/DAPP or equivalent) for their age. For a first rabies shot, at least 28 days must pass before the stay.
Deworming
Recent internal deworming appropriate to their age and your vet’s advice.
Fleas & ticks
Effective, up-to-date prevention and no active infestation at drop-off.
Health disclosure
Tell us about conditions, allergies, medication, recent symptoms or possible contagion.
Good with others
We can only welcome dogs with no known history of aggression towards dogs or children.
Documents
A copy of the vaccination record plus a separate vet document confirming the dates.

Leptospirosis and kennel cough vaccines, as advised by your vet, since dogs share space and play together.
What to bring
- Enough of their usual food for the whole stay

- A familiar bed, blanket or toy (nothing too precious)

Frequently asked questions
Do dogs sleep in cages?
No. Dogs are not routinely kept in cages; they share the home with us.
Are there other animals?
Yes: two resident dogs and chickens outdoors. A young child also lives in the home.
Can my dog go off-leash?
Only inside the fenced property and only if you authorise it. Outside, always on a leash.
What if my dog gets sick?
We contact you as soon as possible. If urgent care is needed and we can’t reach you, we seek help within your authorisation. Vet costs are the owner’s responsibility.
When do I drop off and pick up?
By appointment, arranged individually. Let us know early if plans change.
How much does it cost?
The rate is agreed per stay. Message us for a quote.
What if my dog doesn’t settle?
If things become unsafe or your dog struggles, we adapt the routine, separate the dogs or, if needed, ask you to collect early.
